Fun new multiplayer games?

    I'm looking for suggestions for some different multiplayer games that might be fun. They don't necessarily need to be new, just alternatives for some community play. I think I've reached the point that TF2 only holds my attention occasionally, and lately PUBG has been more irritation than joy. Whatever my problems, I don't think the new Black Ops is the solution.

    There are several games in my inventory that I've never really played, such as L4D2, Payday 2, Chivalry: Medieval Warfare, For Honor, and Killing Floor are five examples.

    Any suggestions? Feel free to post stuff you've got but haven't had people to play multiplayer with. Maybe we can diversify a bit. And please, please, please....don't suggest Dstraktd's mom. We've all played that game, as you can see from all the internet videos.

    Payday 2 was fun, but I think they have just gone a bit too far with all the "extras" in the game. L4D2 is fun too, splatterfest, but it gets old pretty quick. Killing floor 2 is the same way, fun, but just gets monotonous. I enjoyed Chivalry, but you gotta be about that all day melee. Looks like For Honor is very similar to Chivalry. Rainbow 6: Siege has been fun. You just have to find a class you are adept at. The rounds are fast paced, 5 man teams attack/defend play. good times.

    To change up tf2, I’d be interested in doing more regular mvm and if they release a scream fortress to party up to do contracts

    I remember somebody volunteering to figure out how to run our own mvm server with custom maps...

    Overwatch is fun but would be a better time if we could get enough people to do a 6v6 match. I know people here will castrate me but I’ve played a bit of fortnite and it’s ok, again would be better if we had more members to play. Busey talked about making a chivalry server but like distracted said it’s all day everyday melee. I’d totally be down for some more mvm.

    I'm pretty sure Quake champions has private matches now if anyone wanted to play that. The game has also changed pretty radically over the past year.

    That is fun, and I've told people to put it on their origin wish list. It seems you can get it for $5 fairly often, and it's worth more than that just for the mvm mode.

    I wish I had friends to play Heroes of the Storm with. It's not super serious like DOTA or LOL and in general less toxic.
