We were trying to get across a camped bridge. We were in a firefight, and both our team and the enemy were behind vehicles for cover. My plan was to toss a grenade over our cover, and blow up the bad guy. Instead, I bounced the grenade off the vehicle directly in front of us, it rolled, I screamed and ran like a girl, and, well.... So after knocking Alain out with a grenade, I did the only decent thing: I started to revive him. That's when our reinforcements pulled up... Zildjian ran me over before I finished reviving Alain. While this was going on up on the bridge, Halbowitz was swimming the channel. He had refused to ride with us, saying bridges were too dangerous. He was almost right. I say almost because he drowned. Hal blamed the alcohol. So what did I learn? I need to enable replays, because this video would have been priceless.
Overwolf for teamspeak does this apparently, because i can view all of my firefights and deaths, as shown in the prior post
Never took a shot, but had a lot of communication with Mantis back and forth to victory. Didn't want to give up position, and only had a suppressed tommy gun... Also managed to sneak up and steal a whole squad's car... ended up sitting in the drivers seat waiting for them to all get in the warehouse looting. Full Ninja.
Pretty sure the words spoken right before we went airborne for the last time was "woah, made me nervous"
From this article... TwitchPlaysBattlegrounds takes out its frustration on the nearest targets I genuinely thought that TwitchPlaysBattlegrounds wouldn’t manage to pull off kills against any players present at their keyboards. I’ve been proven wrong. All it needed was a team of lemmings willing to take a beating. After initially playing solo, the TwitchPlaysBattlegrounds chat bot started taking on squad matches with other players. Teammates, it turns out, are great targets. In what may be played off as an accident, the PUBG chat (with frying pan in hand) takes a swing at a teammate running in front of it as the whole squad run towards the safe zone together. It’s an instant knockout. The rest of the team, likely believing it was an unintended attack, rallies around to pick up the fallen member. After realizing what it has done, chat mercilessly turns on the rest of the team. It takes out first one teammate, then the other. The initial victim, who the others did manage to revive, runs off before they get another smacking.
I am happy to report I was a part of this dinner. I racked up 5 hp in damage, no kills, and was pretty much a meat shield.
The more I play this, the more it reminds me of prom night. Endless anticipation, followed by extreme disappointment...then you say fuck it and go to bed, and your friend scores.
