Decided not to take the low-road of calling you an old man and noting that the things you like are out of style ... enjoy this song!
There's a followup??? ... also accurate, My Mom and I got in a fight last week because her flatbed scanner is "in her way" but we can't move it off the desk because she scans stuff from song books for church. "Oh, you mean that's how you do copyright infringement?" "It isn't copyright infringement if it's for God." We moved it from one side of the desk to the other.
I saw Paul Simon live just a few months ago. He was part of a benefit concert for Hurricane Harvey relief. I don't care for his music, and the fucking guy can't sing at all anymore. His voice is terrible. And at the end, when Willie Nelson had all the performers back on stage to close the show with "On the Road Again" he didn't sing along. The plus side of that show was seeing Bonnie Raitt live - she's fantastic. So was Nathaniel Rateliff and the Night Sweats. James Taylor...meh. What a night helping flooded people!
Render unto Caesar the things that are Caesar's, and unto God the things that are God's. Matthew 22:21. I've had similar theological discussions with my mom. I've learned that there's just no winning. It can be a fun pastime, however.
Sounds like a good show! There are several interviews with Art Garfunkel that paint Paul Simon in the same light. His (Art's) voice is still pretty surreal.
It was a specific dig... in highschool I sold made-to-order music CDs from mp3s. This was pre-napster. Had a little syndicate... people selling at different area schools, farming out the orders to friends, always getting a commission. Eventually she put an end to it, so whenever she skirts the law I feel the need to point it out But you're correct, there is no winning.
I used to hustle candy bars on the public school kids bus after my shuttle over from the Christian school i was sent to. Buying candy bars for $.50 and auctioning off for anywhere from 2-4 bucks a piece. The market dried up and i blew my profits on crazy bones and pokemon cards
Congrats. It was a perfect storm...everybody else on the server had FITH in front of their name. Little did they know, Dstraktd kills FITH like nobody's business! Seriously...nice job. Solo squad is no bullshit. Very nicely played.
we had to take home education in middle school, basically a cooking class. they taught us how to make cinnamon rolls, so I went home and made cinnamon rolls every other day and sold them at school. my stepmother found my stash and I got in trouble for not sharing with the family.
