If you ever wanted to try the steam controller it is on clearance for $5+S&H. They are going to discontinue it. I still use mine for any controller games on my PC. It is the only controller that can come close to replacing the mouse and keyboard IMO. I bought a backup one for if mine breaks came out to about $15. I bought one last year when it was bundled with the steam link. I've tried it a few times but never found much use for it. Maybe because I game from the computer and not the couch. But when I use a controller I grab the old Xbox 360, not the steam. I will say the steam controller seems well built and might be really good on racing games if you don't have a wheel.
