    Beautiful game, first one I ever remember playing too. Wonderfully frustrating. The HD remake (New 'n' Tasty) is on sale too but it's a bit too 'bloomy' for my tastes and I heard the controls have problems.

    I've also got a slight Pavlov's dog thing going on with the death sound. I get unbelievably irritated whenever I hear it, no matter what

    Damn, that takes me back. Sega Genesis days.......

    In my house growing up, my parents limited us to one game system at a time. Eventually we revolted and just started doing what we wanted, but that meant that when it was time to move on from the NES, we went with Sonic instead of Mario. Sonic, Oddworld, Fatal Fury, Streets of Rage, and that Claymation fighting game were my jams.

    Streets of Rage and ClayFighters, there's some memories right there!! It looked so real in 1993. Need to load that up on the RetroPi...
