Just played through Metal Slug 3 today. Never played it before. Beat it, using only 49 continues! Fun for what it is, a quarter sucking arcade bullet hell. I think I could easily beat it again in 30 or fewer continues, there were several parts I tanked just to get through. I liked the flying parts the best, probably because I'm apparently still really good at Gradius/R-type style games. I played the hell out of those growing up, and I guess the skills are still there.
