Added my 7th weapon to the Hale's Own Club: my Quickiebomb Launcher a.k.a. 'Pistol Shrimp'! I only wish Valve added the Quickiebomb Launcher's strange variant to the game sooner. One silver lining to come from the Meet Your Match Update. Don't know if it's just me but even almost four years later you don't see many strange ones in the wild. Around early March I noticed that this thing was almost at the halfway mark. Ranking this thing up turned into my evening project during the quarantine. Next thing I know it hit Epic, Legendary, Australian, and finally Hale's Own! Don't think I've racked up this many kills in such a small timeframe throughout all my years of playing TF2. A big thanks to all of you on {FITH} for making this possible! A large chunk of these kills came from blowing y'all up. Special thanks to This Guy for the kritz to rack up the final few kills tonight.

No just named after the actual shrimp. Named my Iron Bomber "Heavy Lobster" so I chose on that name for the crustacean theme. Seemed like a fitting name too.
In nature a pistol shrimp hunts by snapping its claw so fast that it essentially creates a "bubble bullet" to kill its prey. For a fraction of a second the cavitation bubble formed creates sonoluminescence and temperatures as hot as the sun's surface. The noise is so loud that colonies of these shrimps can interfere with naval instruments. Seemed...fitting.
I recently brought a Professional Strange AWPer Hand because of how much it reminds me of my childhood in Counter-Strike. It feels nostalgic and I cannot wait to slowly rank up my most beloved skin in the game.
I want a Strange Machina so I can get it to Hale's Own. If anyone wants to sell one, I'll pay market value. Would rather see the money go to our community, then a random on the marker.
I know it is essentially the same gun, but the look and the sound of the Machina are so much better... the BOOM! is so satisfying LOL
The Strange Machina dropped like 10 bucks in price... I bought it and attached a Professional Killstreak Kit to it.
