"The defining aspect of an alternate route isn't that the defending team won't know where they are or how they effect game-play, but that the defending team cannot watch the alternate route at the same time as defending the direct route and thus has to shift their focus and spread themselves thinner in order to cover all the potential threats" Its a poor assumption to assume Kill the Bug is trying to follow and adhere to what you think is "conventional". Spreading your team makes, the good players at least, adjust more to both directions. Awareness of the map is key. If you want traditional, theres a map called Badwater that may be more your style. Bug, I dig this map and the direction you are headed with it. Stay true to your vision. You have 5-8 maps now? Most have never even developed a single one. DO NOT buy into someone telling you to stay with tradition. Buck the hell out of that. Break the system. Well done.
