Dunno how to feel about the jetpack. Hoping it's a taunt, or at most a flamethrower with some severe drawbacks in exchange for added mobility. I gotta say, I really liked the short, it's nice to see Saxton Hale finally featured in one of the films.
The jet pack is an odd choice but the Natscha (I hope I spelled it right although part of me does not care) can take it out, direct hit could also be a problem and a good sniper head shot might do the trick.

Pyro's wearing different shoes while using the jetpack. Maybe it's a gunboat situation? The pyro trades their secondary for the jetpack and their melee for a pair of no-fall boots. They do kinda look like the no-fall boots from Portal. Or maybe it's like you said. The flamethrower is connected to the jetpack and it's like the rocket jumper. Instead, however, you lose the flame and only use airblast. Loving the new Saxton Hale model. The VSH version is too shiny
The gas passer seems like an entirely new type of weapon. I wonder how long the spill will last and if it will act like an area denial effect. Also the banana might be objectively better than the sandwich. I am fairly sure I have never gotten through a whole sandwich before someone came up and killed me. Also any bets on day 4 being a gotcha and giving the heavy some new stuff as well? Also thank god they "fixed" how the flamethrower hit detection worked. That was the only reason why I voted for the pyro. Also confirmed pyro has fish for hands.
Good call. Spot on. Well I was pretty scared for spy play, but none of this seems gamebreaking.... EXCEPT YET ANOTHER jarate/fire/milk/bleed effect FUCK. If they're adding more effects that absolutely are a direct counter to invis watch, they need to add some sort of mitigation for it... this gas thing is fucked.
I think the reworked afterburn will be a huge help to spies. No more mad pyro flailing and lighting a cloaked spy for 10 seconds. They'll have to put the flame to you for a bit. Single shot flamethrower looks interesting, as does more accurate and forceful airblasting. Looking forward to a server with 32 pyros when the update drops.
